hair growth routine

Achieving healthy, beautiful natural hair can be a tough task if you don’t know what to do; meanwhile, all it takes is a little TLC (Tender Loving Care), a proper hair care routine, and Voila! Your hair can go from where it is to THIS.

HAIR CARE ROUTINE

In this mini-tutorial, I will be showing you how to grow your hair like those two smart ladies above. All they did was follow through with this simple hair routine and they started getting the amazing results they so dearly craved.

Before the end of this post, I will also show you a simple routine you can use for yourself and your kids daily, that’s quick, effective, and keeps hair perfectly moisturized.

One of the most common causes of hair loss is dryness, the moment your hair is not properly moisturized it breaks, leaving your hair short and unattractive. American Academy of Dermatology Association emphasizes that How you wash your hair and the products you use can go a long way in maintaining smooth, shiny hair. Follow these simple tips from dermatologists to maintain healthy hair.

You can perform these steps on protective styles, like cornrows, twist-outs, weaving, and so on.

So the first and most important daily routine anyone who cares about their hair is meant to follow is to moisturize. You need a very good Moisturizer, I will recommend our Daily Hair Moisturizer formerly known as Daily Hair thirst quencher. It contains Chamomile extract, Aloe Vera, neem, and other amazing ingredients that promote hair growth, as well as keep your hair shiny, strong, and healthy.

Have you ever heard of the LOC treatment? Well, for most Naturalista’sit is the most common and effective hair care routine, it simply stands for Liquid, Oil, and Cream.

For the purpose of this tutorial; we will use the Daily Hair Moisturizer as the “L”

How to Properly Moisturize:

  1. Partition your hair into large chunks, if your hair is not in a protective style; for easy access to the scalp.
  2. Take each section and spray generously with the  Daily Hair Moisturizer
  3. Use your fingers to detangle and massage into your hair and scalp

Next “O” – Oil, there are so many varieties of hair oil that choosing the right one can be difficult but Afrovirtues has put together the perfect blend of essential oils, that are great for hair growth and restoration, even if you suffer from scalp conditions such as psoriasis and dandruff you can use the Dandruff and Anti-itch oil to treat your scalp while enhancing hair growth, or you can focus on the hair growth by getting the Herbal Hair Growth Oil.

How to Oil your hair and Scalp:

  1. Partition your hair
  2. Apply oil directly to your scalp
  3. Massage into your scalp
  4. Gently rub into your hair, from the roots up.

“C” – Cream This last process helps to lock in the moisture from the preceding steps. It’s easy to apply products on your hair, but within a few hours, they just dry off, without fully performing their functions, especially in areas with harsh or dry weather. The Herbal Hair Growth Butter is made from whipped oils, which makes it light on the hair and also protects the hair by locking in moisture.
